The Black Promoters Collective announced a partnership with Milwaukee’s Pabst Theater Group. The collaboration focuses on urban music events across Milwaukee’s premier entertainment venues. The venture represents a major expansion of urban entertainment offerings in the region.
BPC Chief Operating Officer Beth Pepper met PTG representatives at a New Orleans conference. The meeting led to discussions about combining resources to enhance Milwaukee’s entertainment offerings. PTG Chief Operating Officer Matt Beringer expressed support for the new entertainment initiative.
The partnership will utilize four major Milwaukee venues for upcoming urban music events. These include The Riverside Theater, The Pabst Theater, and Turner Hall Ballroom. The Black Promoters Collective maintains its position as a leading urban entertainment company. The partnership expands BPC’s Club BPC initiative into Milwaukee’s smaller music venues. This strategy aims to bring diverse urban talent to local communities.
The Pabst Theater Group hosts over 700 live events annually in Milwaukee. PTG manages six core venues and generates $250 million in economic impact. The venues will maintain their current staff of 350 full and part-time employees.
Event programming will begin in early 2025 across all participating venues. Both organizations bring significant industry experience to the collaboration. BPC specializes in urban entertainment, while PTG operates Milwaukee’s historic venues.
