State of Sound: True Skool Showcase

TRUE Skool is excited to announce their Spring Student Showcase Gallery will take place at Radio Milwaukee, with a portion of the event broadcast live on-air during State of Sound.

TRUE Skool is Milwaukee’s Center for Transformative Creative Arts & Hip Hop Culture, providing after-school activities and direct mentorship to youth. The Spring Student Showcase Gallery is a celebration of the creative works produced by the youth participants of TRUE Skool during the spring after-school session, including unique visual arts, music, dance, spoken-word performances and film.

The event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Attendees can expect to enjoy community, live music, and refreshments while enjoying artwork and a variety of performances from TRUE Skool’s diverse, multi-talented student participants.
