From his humble beginnings to founding the Pensole Footwear Design Academy, Dr. Edwards’ journey is a testament to creativity, determination, and the power of mentorship.
I sat down with him to discuss his history in the footwear industry as our city prepares to celebrate and attend Milwaukee Film’s Culture By Design Sneaker and Streetwear Summit on October 7. We also discussed what it felt like to be at the forefront of creating culture… by his own design.
