SZA to headline Summerfest 2024 with special guest Aminé

Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance has announced that Grammy-winning artist SZA will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Saturday, June 22, 2024. This performance, featuring special guest Aminé, marks SZA’s first appearance at the renowned music festival.

SZA’s Meteoric Rise

SZA has established herself as a formidable force in contemporary R&B, captivating audiences with her vulnerable and poetic songwriting style. Her distinct vocal abilities allow her to convey a wide range of emotions, making her music both relatable and compelling. SZA’s journey to stardom began with a series of well-received EPs and collaborations with notable artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna.

The release of her debut album, Ctrl, in 2017 solidified SZA’s position as a rising star. The critically acclaimed album reached the Top Ten on the Billboard 200 and earned her five Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist. His debut album, Good For You, was certified Gold by the RIAA, and he was selected as a XXL Freshman in 2017.

Aminé’s subsequent releases, ONEPOINTFIVE (2018) and Limbo (2020), showcased his pure rapping ability and solidified his position as a rising star in the genre. His most recent work, TWOPOINTFIVE (2021), explored new musical territory, incorporating elements of club music and hyperpop.
