UK collective SAULT has released a new album titled “Acts of Faith,” continuing their trend of unexpected releases. The album, which consists of a single 32-minute track, was made available for free download on July 6, 2024.
“Acts of Faith” marks SAULT’s 11th studio album and follows their pattern of offering free downloads to their audience. The release was announced through a social media post featuring an image of a vintage TV displaying the album title against a dark, rainy street backdrop.
The album, produced by the group’s presumed leader, Inflo, is available as a .wav file through Forever Living Originals. This format choice and distribution method align with SAULT’s unconventional music release and promotion approach. Interestingly, the imagery used for the album announcement appears to connect to SAULT’s first-ever live show, which took place in London in December 2023.
SAULT maintains an air of mystery around their identity, with members rarely confirmed. However, producer Inflo is generally considered the group’s leader, with various uncredited vocalists contributing to their work.
The release of “Acts of Faith” follows SAULT’s 2021 album “Nine,” which received positive reviews for its impactful storytelling and musical composition. As with their previous works, this new album will likely showcase SAULT’s distinctive blend of genres and thought-provoking themes.
