Milwaukee's J.P. enlists NLE Choppa for the 'Bad Bitty' remix

Milwaukee’s rising artist J.P. has released a remix of his track “Bad Bitty” featuring NLE Choppa. The collaboration comes with a new music video directed by Julius Gutierrez, aka Moldy Room. Two weeks ago, an Instagram photo hinted at the collaboration.

The original “Bad Bitty” has gained notable traction, accumulating 43 million streams. This success prompted J.P. to enlist NLE Choppa for the remix, which follows the release of J.P.’s debut album, “Coming Out Party” back in June. The 20-year-old J.P. first entered the Milwaukee rap scene in 2022 with his track “Juicey Ahhh.”

The music video for the “Bad Bitty” remix draws inspiration from country and western themes. Set on what looks like a ranch, the video features J.P. and NLE Choppa in cowboy-inspired attire. Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” project may influence this aesthetic choice. Towards the end of the video, viewers may notice a cameo appearance by fellow Milwaukee rapper 414bigfrank, adding a local touch.
