TV On The Radio hints at potential comeback

Indie rock band TV On The Radio has sparked speculation about a possible return to the music scene. According to Pitchfork, the group recently updated their social media accounts and website with new imagery, marking their first public activity in several years.

The band, known for their eclectic sound and critical acclaim, has been largely inactive since the release of their last studio album, “Seeds,” in November 2014. Their most recent live performance took place at Madison Square Garden in March 2019, following a brief tour in 2018 that included a Brooklyn concert commemorating the 10th anniversary of their album “Dear Science.”

While details remain limited, the recent online updates have generated interest among fans and industry observers. The group has not officially announced new music or tour plans.

In a July interview with The Hollywood Reporter, TV On The Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe discussed his recent solo work and alluded to the possibility of the band’s return. Adebimpe recently completed recording his first solo album and has also been expanding his presence in the entertainment industry.

The singer is set to appear in the upcoming Disney+ series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” alongside actors Jude Law, Kerry Condon, and Jaleel White. Additionally, Adebimpe has a role in the film “Twisters,” a continuation of the 1996 storm-chasing thriller.
