Alabama Shakes has announced their return to touring after an eight-year hiatus. The four-time Grammy-winning band will perform at Milwaukee’s Miller High Life Theatre on September 4, 2025, marking their first appearance in the city since their extended break.
The Milwaukee performance, scheduled for an 8:00 PM start with doors opening at 7:00 PM, will feature special guest Sam Evian. The historic Miller High Life Theatre engagement comes as part of the band’s comprehensive North American tour, which begins July 16 in Chicago. Throughout the tour, Alabama Shakes has curated a diverse lineup of supporting acts, including The Budos Band, Bahamas, Shannon & The Clams, El Michels Affair, Lee Fields, Greyhounds, Y La Bamba, Caleb Elliott, and Alanna Royale, with different artists appearing at various stops along the tour.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Brittany Howard, who recently received a Grammy nomination for her solo album “WHAT NOW,” explained the band’s decision to reunite. “Last year, Heath, Zac, and I started chatting about how much fun it would be to make music together and tour again as Alabama Shakes,” Howard stated. The band has also confirmed that new material is forthcoming, adding fresh elements to their existing catalog.
The tour announcement coincides with the tenth anniversary of their groundbreaking album “Sound & Color,” which topped the Billboard 200 and earned multiple Grammy Awards. The band’s commitment to social causes continues, with $1 from each ticket supporting organizations working for equity, access, and dignity through a partnership with PLUS1.
Tickets for the Milwaukee show will be available through a Citi cardmember presale beginning February 10, followed by an artist presale on February 11. General ticket sales commence February 14 through alabamashakes.com.
VIP packages will be available for the tour offering premium seating, exclusive merchandise, and early venue access for a seamless, elevated concert experience. Visit wearesuper.co/alabamashakes for full VIP ticket details.
