Musician Childish Gambino has announced his sixth studio album, “Bando Stone & The New World,” which will be released on July 19 via RCA Records. To accompany the announcement, the artist has also released a new single, “Lithonia.”
The upcoming album is noteworthy as it will be the final release under Gambino’s current moniker. Fans will have an early opportunity to hear the new material at an exclusive event on July 6 at Little Island in New York City. Tickets for this interactive experience will be available starting July 3.
Gambino recently appeared at the 2024 BET Awards, where he debuted a trailer for “Bando Stone & The New World” and performed as part of a tribute to Usher.
After the album release, Childish Gambino will embark on The New World Tour, produced by AEG Presents. The North American leg begins on August 11 in Oklahoma City and includes 33 stops before concluding in Chicago on October 3. The tour will then continue to Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, with the final show scheduled for February 11 in Perth, Australia.
Supporting acts for the tour include WILLOW for the North American dates and Amaarae for the international shows.
The tour includes a stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the Fiserv Forum on August 14, with WILLOW as the opening act.
