Daisha McBride is rap goals, everything else is for the birds

I spoke with the incredible artist Daisha McBride. We discussed the Queen Collective, a program initiated by Queen Latifah in partnership with Proctor & Gamble, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios. It’s aimed at providing a platform for women and non-binary directors. Daisha expressed her excitement when she saw the first promo for the campaign. We also discussed Daisha’s experience with giving a Ted Talk and she shared her journey from preparation to performance. We even grabbed a scoop that she is planning a small tour, focusing on cities where her music is popular, starting with Dallas, Houston, and Chicago.
