Held at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School at 3275 N. 3rd St from 10 am – 3 pm, the summit is organized by Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs. It supports local entrepreneurship, stimulates economic development, and encourages job creation. The event, free and open to the public, is sponsored by notable organizations, including the Historic King Drive Business Improvement District 8, the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, and the City of Milwaukee.

Keynote Speaker: Tish Taylor-Searcy

A highlight of the summit is the keynote address by Tish Taylor-Searcy, a distinguished serial entrepreneur, brand manager, and marketing executive. Taylor-Searcy, with her diverse portfolio, including high-level campaigns for brands like Scott Tissue and Sony Music Group, brings a wealth of experience.
