Each singer covers a ’90s classic—think Mint Condition or Lauryn Hill—then shares an original piece, creating a living dialogue between eras. The Marketplace highlights Black-owned wellness brands, while visual artist Vedale Hill completes a live mural during the show. A community open-mic segment at 8:45 PM offers a stage for emerging talent. The night wraps with a group rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “As,” symbolizing the city-wide family reunion vibe.
