Join us on Thursday, October 5th starting at 4:30 pm in the UW-Milwaukee Lubar Entrepreneurship Center as we kick off a week-long celebration of diversity in STEM and space discovery in appreciation for the contributions of engineer, physician and former astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison, the first Black woman to travel into space.
This unique event will feature an exciting keynote address by Sandra Charles, Chief Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Officer at Fermilab, along with networking and internship opportunities for students across various disciplines.
Food will be provided, but you must register in advance. Seating is limited to the first 100 registrants, and participants are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes or CV’s to share with employers.
