Unleash the spirit of Ujamaa! Join us for the Pre-Kwanzaa Workshop, celebrating cooperative economics and vibrant African culture.

Pre-Kwanzaa Workshop

Prepare to embrace the Ujamaa spirit at our Pre-Kwanzaa Workshop presented by the Center for Leadership of Afrikan Women’s Wellness (CLAWW). Join us for an enriching day of food, fun, and entertainment as we explore the principle of Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): “To build and maintain our own stores, shops, and other businesses and to profit from them together.”

Listen to our Ujamaa workshop speakers, Robert Wynn, Founder and CEO of Climb USA, and David Young, Credit Repair, as they share tips and insights on improving economic knowledge. Delight in captivating performances by Lucky Diop and the Sankofa Drum Circle, Kassumai Drum and Dance, and Blue Lotus. Don’t forget to explore our Market Place, which has special items for sale and exciting raffle and door prizes.

$20 (kids under 12 free), you can be a part of this vibrant celebration, where we come together to honor our shared cultural heritage, strengthen our bonds, and embrace the principles of Kwanzaa.
