We are proud to present another wonderful evening of live music, featuring the musical stylings of longtime joint force & multifaceted husband & wife combo, B-Free & Quinten Farr. This incredible team received rave reviews after last year’s concert and we are thrilled to have them back again.

Singer, producer & multi-instrumentalist B~Free has paved her creative career in a large number of musical disciplines, while Quinten has navigated waters as a musician, producer, mixing engineer & sound designer. As fellow Milwaukee HS of the Arts alum, band leaders, educators & frequent collaborators, the pair brings their savvy technique and musical experience to a variety of audiences by way of flute, voice, keyboards & loops, through jazz, soul, electronic & R&B genres. Previous professional & performance credits include Turner Hall, The Jazz Estate, Blu – Pfister, Marcus Performing Arts Center, Summerfest, Wisconsin State Fair, & Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel. With the combination of original, cover & reinterpreted music alongside unique, in-depth performances, their musical offerings are sure to deliver a variety of feel-good vibes to any setting.

Singer, producer, content creator & multi-instrumentalist B~Free, is a contemporary artist & Milwaukee native who has dedicated her life to the arts. Born in Chicago, IL, & raised in Milwaukee, WI, her training in flute, voice & piano has earned her degrees in musical studies, along with a vast career in music performance, curation, & education.

In 2013, following the release of her debut project a year prior, a bout of pneumonia & throat infection left her unable to speak & sing for three months. Vocal cord surgery followed, & she couldn’t sing a single note for a year. Her return project following rehabilitation was (sophomore album) “Ode 2 A Luv Affair LP” in 2016. The O2LA was met with much acclaim; including being hailed by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as the “Number One Album of 2016” & by The Shepherd Express as an “immaculately constructed R&B record.”

B~Free’s creative experience has also played a hand in the development of her social media presence. Her innovative content is rooted within a unique combination of musical, social & comedic delivery, & has garnered accolades from the likes of Brandy, Lizzo & Missy Elliott across platforms. Along with an artistic career of nearly two decades, she also serves as the Music Ed Coordinator for Radio Milwaukee’s Youth Program, “Grace Weber’s Music Lab.”

In the span of her profession, B~Free has graced various stages from Summerfest & Turner Hall to the Marcus Performing Arts Center, & also served as direct opening support for Janelle Monáe. Her latest in recent endeavors include preparation for her third solo album, the release of original music, & the successful composition of original scoring for the spring 2023 world premiere play “HOOPS,” presented by Milwaukee Chamber Theatre.

Quinten Farr is a gifted force in the realm of jazz, soul & electronic music. Born & raised in the city of Milwaukee to a family of musicians, he began his twenty-plus years of jazz & classical piano training at age 8 under a variety of accomplished musicians such as Mark Davis, Charles Pettaway & Sam Steffke.

With studies in Jazz Performance & Music Education from Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Lincoln University PA & the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Farr’s immeasurable skill & talent have afforded him opportunities to perform both locally & internationally in a number of venues; from Summerfest & the Marcus Performing Arts Center to the Tuscany & Umbria Jazz Festivals in Europe.

Farr currently serves as the lead keyboardist for No Seatbelts, & premier ensemble, the Eddie Butts Band. His solo endeavors have included original music releases of 2020’s “Say It” with B~Free, as well as his self-produced, talkbox-led debut single, “Quarantine.” When off stage, he navigates a thorough practice as a music producer, freelance mixing engineer & sound designer.
