Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow: Immortal Girlfriend Radio Milwaukee

‘Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow’, HYFIN’s monthly music interview series, is back with the imperial “Dark Knights of Synth”, the magnificent brother duo Immortal Girlfriend.

Since their 2017 debut, Kevin and Will Bush have created a bevy of lush tracks and heartfelt, honest lyrics in alternative/electronic spaces. The two stopped by the palatial Radio Milwaukee studios to discuss their beginnings, growing up off of 53rd and Silver Spring (Milwaukee) and developing their love and appreciation of all types of music, including Screamo!

With HYFIN’s Anthony ‘A-Biz’ Foster, the two discuss their early bands, recordings and their hit-song ‘Someone Like You‘ being featured in the Netflix series, ‘Wednesday’. They also share news about their first movie score in an indie, true-crime documentary surrounding the 2019 deadly police shooting of 18-year-old Ty’rese West in the Village of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.
