What does it feel like to go from a local Milwaukee singer & musician to a Def Jam recording artist? Well I had a chance to dive into the world of sound and creativity with none other than Felix Ames who did just that. Felix is a remarkable creative who left his mark on the Milwaukee music scene. From his soulful melodies to thought-provoking lyrics, his sound is a journey that takes us to emotional depths we’ve never explored.
On his latest project, he’s released his music in a cool two-pack combination. In June, he dropped “Bend Don’t Break” and “Shoestring,” then “Taxi Driver” and “7711”. Join me as I uncover the stories behind the man. We explore his Milwaukee upbringing, how college gave him room to explore and who he partnered with on half of his album. His artistic mind goes well beyond music. One day you might look around your home and see home goods made by this innovative artist.
