HYFIN, a Milwaukee-based media platform, has announced a new partnership with Operation HOPE to support One Million Black Businesses Initiative (1MBB). This collaboration aims to establish 100 new Black-owned businesses in Milwaukee by 2030.
As the first Wisconsin partner for 1MBB, HYFIN plans to offer support through various programs, including an E-Commerce Summit and the ‘Blackity Black Holiday Market.’ These initiatives are designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with access to necessary resources and capital.

The 1MBB initiative, launched in October 2020 with Shopify as its founding partner, aims to address barriers to Black entrepreneurship. It provides tools, resources, and educational opportunities to help aspiring business owners start and grow their enterprises. The program focuses on various industries, including but not limited to apparel, consumer goods, education, and health services, reflecting the diversity of Milwaukee’s Black business community.
This partnership represents a concerted effort to support and develop Black-owned businesses in Milwaukee, potentially leading to increased economic opportunities and growth within the community.
