Qing Madi is a singer, songwriter and dancer out of Nigeria. With more than 800,000 likes on YouTube, and her song going viral on TikTok, she is an artist from the continent that’s making waves globally. Qing Madi is known for her introspective lyrics and her distinctive voice. Her music often blends elements of Afrobeats, R&B, and alternative genres, showcasing a unique and versatile style. During her time with HYFIN Music Director Element Everest-Blanks, the pair talked about art, her musical inspirations, how she began recording at age 14 and what her parents really thought when they first heard her viral TikTok song “See Finish.”
