The "Latest & Greatest" series is meticulously curated to curate outstanding performances by musicians statewide, ensuring that local artists receive a spotlight. The event will take place at the HYFIN Walker’s Point studio and is anticipated to be a captivating event celebrating Milwaukee's urban alternative music scene and its community. The series aims to illuminate local talent, particularly those who have had limited exposure to prestigious performance opportunities. The revenue from ticket sales will be directed back to the artists, thus investing in their pursuits and bolstering the local cultural landscape. The monthly events will be graciously hosted by the renowned HYFIN on-air personality, Mr. Anthony Foster. The series will continue throughout 2024, with performances scheduled once a month. The opening night on March 1 will feature talented acts such as Troy Tyler and Kia Rap Princess. HYFIN is committed to revealing the upcoming artists scheduled to perform on a rolling monthly basis, providing these announcements approximately three weeks prior to each concert. Mr. Foster shares the community's enthusiasm for the development of the "Latest & Greatest" series. Initially envisioned as a weekly feature on HYFIN's social media platforms, the initiative aimed to highlight Milwaukee's wealth of urban alternative talent. This now translates into a monthly celebration and a substantial platform for artists in the medium of live performance. Mr. Moody has emphasized the series' commitment to fostering a thriving hub for Milwaukee’s artistic, creative, and entrepreneurial spirits. "Latest & Greatest" is set to play an integral role in securing a support system that allows artists and bands to prosper, offering not only a stage that foregrounds their artistry but also providing them with financial empowerment. The initiative marks a new chapter in creating visibility and opportunities for Milwaukee’s creatives. In its previous year, HYFIN successfully featured three local artists weekly through its "Latest & Greatest" social media campaign, effectively showcasing over a hundred artists. The live concert series denotes a significant scale-up in support for the urban alternative talent that defines Milwaukee. Ticketing for the 2024 series is now available, with purchases possible via Eventbrite or at the venue's entrance. The event's doors will open at 7 p.m., with concerts scheduled from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshment options from a pop-up beverage stand provided by Discourse Coffee. In summary, "Latest & Greatest" is an important milestone representing HYFIN's dedication to local talent and the continued cultural vibrancy of Milwaukee’s music scene – an initiative bound to resonate with the community, the artists, and connoisseurs of urban alternative music alike.
